Doctor called. Pedelite for 24hrs. Then he said words that just made the tears flow. We have 2 choices. Nissin surgery with a 5-10% dr failure rate and 50% patient failure rate or a GJ tube with high risk of aspiration and migration of j tube. He said there is no easy choice.
I dont want to write anymore right now. My friend sent me this in a text this morning,
"What is impossible for people is possible with God."
Please pray.
Be blessed.
Our pastor preached from Lk 1:37 at the beginning of the year. He believed it was for this year. "For nothing is impossible with God." That has been spoken so many times since from very different places. Jesus said it another way in Mt. 19:26b "...but with God all things are possible."
ReplyDeleteAngela had her nissen done at 11 months old. The first 6 weeks after surgery she gained 9 lbs! That was almost 14 years ago and she's been GREAT!!!! 10% out of the THOUSANDS of nissens that are done every day is not very much! As long as you have a surgeon who is experienced in doing them, he'll be fine. Maybe I'll do a blog about how we came to our decision for Angela.
