Soon we will get travel dates and then it id off to Bul*aria for me!!! I will get to meet our boys. The ones we have fought for, fundraised for, begged money from people for, saved ever penny for. Noah is up to so much these days. He continues to surprise me daily. Let's see...
He finally made it to 25lbs!! WHOOT WHOOT!!!
He is in a size 18 months.
He will be 3 in 3 months! No way!! Seriously?
My boy walks with authority. Man, he walks into a room or around the house like he owns the place. :)
The boy never shuts up! And I love it! He is speaking in full sentences. He is carrying on conversations. He is trying to tell jokes and be funny.
He can dance like no white boy I have ever met!
He is starting to annoy his sisters on purpose! Typical brother.
He is a huge flirt! Mainly to older gals 16 and up.
Cheerleaders melt when he flashes his baby blues at them and grins. We are in trouble! lol
He and his brother are best buds.
He is still carried a lot of the time. None of our others kids were at almost 3. Heck not even at 2. But he is so tiny and light I feel the need to hold him as long as he will let me.
He melts my heart and is still the love of my life! That boy amazes me. He is a miracle given to us by God and his birthmom and we are so very grateful.
Sarie: I think adoption means when kids dont have moms and dads. Then some people adopt them. Then they have moms and dads to take care of them. The moms and dads are nice to them, and give them hugs and kisses. Adoption means I get brothers and sisters. My favorite part of having a new brother is having them home with me.
When ask what adoption means to her she said.
AJ: "Nofing!" New brothers. I like Misha and Judah and Micah. :)
What does it mean to be adopted?
AJ: Moms and Dads die and then they come to live with us.
Whats your fav part of adoption?
AJ: I like candy. (yes we know AJ) Candy! (oh I think she means the court day when we have cake and cookies)
What does adoption mean to you?
Charidy: It means getting new kids in the family. I like adopting them out of the orphanages because the orphanages are bad and mean.
What do think it means to the kids who are adopted?
Trinity interrupts: A new life. (Thanks Trin wait your turn please.)
Charidy: Maybe they would be glad to have a mom and dad.
Do you think it is hard on them to leave the only place they ever knew?
Charidy: Maybe. Maybe not. Well for Micah, he was happy to leave.
Whats your favorite part about adoption?
Charidy: Getting to adopt the kids and meet our brothers!
What does adoption mean to you?
Trinity: It means saving kids from starving to death and getting new brothers and sisters (she says sisters because she is hoping to get a sister with down syndrome! 8 is enough Trin 8 is enough!!!!)
What do think it means to the kids who are adopted?
Trinity interrupts: A new life, a good one. Like they will probably be happy to get out of the orphanage and be able to do things they never got to do before, being loved.
Whats your favorite part about adoption?
Trinity: Getting to meet my new siblings for the first time.
What does God say about adoption?
Trinity: That its good. I didnt really read that chapter yet. (Reminds her of James 1:27 to which I said it wrong and she corrected me. gee thanks!) To look after the orphans and widows.
What does that mean to look after them?
Trinity: You could make blankets for orphans and take them to them.
What a disgrace! Where is Jesus? Where is the Holy Spirit? He's not there because He's not allowed!
Take me back to the days where I walked into a tiny building with a sheet on the wall projecting words to songs. 5 kids playing worship music and a crowd of people on their knees or face. You could feel the Holy Spirit. You could hear Him coming out of the mouths of babes. He was there because a group of teenagers didnt want to impress the masses all they wanted was to praise God. Teen girls laying hands on other girls and praying in tongues, tears flowing freely and arms raised high not because it was the cool thing to do but because they were trying so desperately to reach God. You knew as soon as you touched the door you were on Holy Ground and you respected that. Kids that came to get out of the house and goof off were soon on their faces too.
I dont want an 8 million dollar building. I dont want super awesome kids programs or cafes or bookstores! I dont want the best sound equipment or huge screens. I just want Jesus. I want to come into His presence. I want to be compelled to fall to my knees and not care who sees me. I want to meet Jesus right there. I want my kids to experience what I did when I went to youth services. The church has become extinct and now we just have these mega happy fluffy places where you go to feel good about yourself. Where your sin is good with them because no one wants to offend anyone.
My soul cant take this anymore. I feel like a fish out of water. I am gasping because the Living Water is gone and I have to get back or I will die. My soul is dying. I dont want to get to the end of my life, meet Jesus and have done it all wrong. I want life more abundantly and to me that doesnt mean riches of gold and silver. I want to draw close to Jesus. He will meet us anywhere so why do we have to have billion dollar buildings and all the hoopla?
Our dossier is in country and we were told there was an issue. A few items were missing or needed updated. So we got those items and will be sending them to get appostilled tomorrow then heading back over to Bulgaria. We hope this doesnt affect our travel. I could be traveling anywhere between now and 8 weeks from now. That is a ball park estimate.
We are getting ready for our Spaghetti Dinner fundraiser. It is this Friday at Harvest Church in Texas. I hope to see ya'll there. If you cant make it you can donate 5.00 that not only will help bring our boys home but also will go to feed 1 homeless person that evening.

Little update on Micah
He is talking a lot more. Doing really well. Getting along great with the kids and making great strides. He has some issues that we are working on but he is definitely a kid with great potential. It hurts that the foster family and caseworker never thought so.
All day today Noah wanted me. He was attached to me since he woke up. Always wanting on my lap or my hip. Then tonight he didnt want to go to bed he wanted held. I was in Heaven. I wrapped him up and sat on the rocker holding him. We rocked and I sang praise and worship music to him. I prayed over him and thanked God for him. In that 30 or 45 mins I felt so refreshed, so at peace. It was just what I needed in this chaotic fast paced world, just a minute alone with my baby worshiping God. I can't believe he even stopped moving long enough for me to hold him.
AJ will be 4 in 2 months and the girl refuses to potty train. She cant even stay dry over night. I need some help. We tried a timer. As long as the timer was going off she would go if it wasnt she didnt. Then we tried candy. She would only go if she got a piece of candy and then she would go 15x in 5 mins just to get the candy. When I told her she gets 2 for pooping she forced herself to poop.
Im seriously at a loss. I successfully potty trained 3 kids before her. What the heck?! And what about the peeing and pooping overnight? HELP!!!!!! Please!
I want to potty train Noah and Micah but have no idea how to potty train boys or boys with SN.
This week Noah met his brother Micah. He was less than impressed. Lol.
He had some good times, but then Micah bit him. He was ticked!!
Noah took a lot of fits! We were away from home and no naps were taken.
Micah seemed to like to pick on Noah in the car. This did not make Noah feel warm and fuzzy. We had to move the carseats.
He noticed Micah had the same scar on his belly. Hmmm....
He purposely made that face on every pic I tried to get. Stinker!!!
Who is this dude and why is he near MY daddy?!
Pretty much he just minded his own business and played around Micah not with him.
I don't think he really knew that he was Noah's brother. We were in a strange city, different house, lots of different people so we will see what happens when Micah comes home for good hopefully Friday.
Last Wednesday Trinity and I went with a few people down town to deliver food to the homeless. Well we enjoyed it so much that the whole family wants to do it. Then a friend called and her daughter wanted to do it too! So tonight we are all going down to pass out more. The kids were excited & Paul was excited!
