I need to set rules and then not feel so bad when I tell them no. I also prefer them playing at my house. I just refuse to be a free daycare service for the neighborhood.

Be blessedLinneahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15333442830705285496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6330277765661581219.post-70409806049000816422011-05-10T15:35:15.399-07:002011-05-10T15:35:15.399-07:00LOL Oh, I remember those days! If they were playing outside I would bring out a pitcher of water periodically to make sure everyone is drinking. Kids go home at mealtimes. My house was neighbor-free from noon to about 2:00 (or whatever hours Angela was napping!) But I DID like the kids playing in my yard because I knew what was going on. On preferred that to them going to someone else's house. And, it's ok to sit the neighbor kids down and go over some of the ground rules with them. They're excited to have new playmates! Also, there is nothing wrong with saying "If you play here in the morning, then not in the afternoon" or vice versa. Too much time together eventually damages the relationship anyway.Leah Springhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02326240393099112570noreply@blogger.com
